challenger stolen from worcester mass

so my best friend has a  1973 dodge challenger with a 71' grill on it, its plum crazy and has a 340 in it it was stolen about 3 days ago from his grandmothers house in Worcester mass. the neighbors said they seen a flat bed truck with new Hampshire license's plates take it away. so any one with any info to help get it back would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

so sad i hope you get it back but most cars are choped up withen a few houres of being taken.i hope they catch the jerk and throw then under the jail

I know that's true of new cars, but is it true of classics as well? I would imagine that a classic is worth a lot more in one piece. I wonder if a thief would do a VIN swap instead?

It's common place (in New Orleans at least) for thieves to steal cars and put them in shipping containers headed for the middle east. When I used to own an SS camaro that's what they were doing with some of them. They love American muscle over there.

Hell, I worked for a speed shop and we received calls daily from iraq asking for performance parts.

Too bad we couldn`t require vin#`s and a photo of tag and vehicle for parts orders coming from the middle east? Not sure how you could ever get a stolen car back from there though!
