Using the Challenger to improve customer service
« on: March 27, 2012 - 09:20:00 AM »
My wife decided that we need a sprinkler system for the grass since it's her job to water it now. I took a drive to the sprinkler company yesterday in the truck, stood around for half an hour being ignored and finally got tired of standing around so I left. I decided to go back today in the Challenger with the idea that there's going to be at least one car guy working there. I hadn't even shut the car off before I had 4 guys standing around the car asking questions and wanting to help me. I was out of there half an hour later with a map for sprinkler heads and a quote for and installed system and one for a do it myself system.

That's kinda funny, but it's also kinda sad...

You probably could have gotten a 20% discount if you put on a long, blonde wig and stuffed some tube-socks under your shirt...

When I take my car out on jobsites to do inspections or to do training it always draws attention.  It is a great conversation starter.  If it helps mr get extra work, the better.
