IMO '70 'Cudas and Challengers are the best looking E-bodies built without having all of the useless "fluff" that alot of the '71's are known for. I started in the Mopar hobby back in the late '80's buying all of the '70 'Cudas/Barracudas that I could find (pretty cheap then), and I used to run across '71's all the time and the prices then were about the same as the '70 models were. It seems that the Nash Bridges show turned the '71 'Cudas into the "flavor of the month car" (well, flavor of the decade?). I just could never get into the cheese grator grille or gilled fenders, as for the billboards... About as bad as the rice burners with their decaled up mobiles:) Nothing worse than a '71 FE5 Ralley Red Hemicuda column auto, bench seat 3.23 non-sure gripped, BILLBOARD car get clobbered by a '70 383 4-spd 3.91 geared road runner which was FT6 Burnt Tan Metallic with tan interior and NO frills or stripes;) Appearance does not win races.
