Would love to build a Frankenstein, with 70 challenger dual front h/lamps , grille & valance pnl with t/signal lamps, but 72 Cuda rear for the round taillamps & Cuda rally hood. Wonder if that's do-able ?

It will look awful. I had the idea of buying a '72-74 Challenger (because they are a bit cheaper than '70/71) and then put the front grille from 70/71 model. I thought it was a brilliant idea until I saw one yellow Challenger for sale with that exact Frankensteinery. It just doesn't work.

"Frankensteinery" I like it, that might be my new favourite word.  :roflsmiley:

When I was a kid I knew a pair of brothers that built a "Frankensteinery" . It was a convertible with a 70 Challenger in the front and a 70,71? Cuda in the rear. I always wondered what happened to that "creation" ?

This would have been in the mid/late 70's early 80's. I can't remember the colour though.

71 Hemi Cuda - no doubt. Hard top, not convertible.

Man this thread has been going for awhile, not sure if I ever contributed but will here

Challenger - 1970 RT 440 (which I have)

Cuda - 72-74 340 or 360 4 speed (which I have as well, 73 340 stroked to 416 with a 4 speed). I do like 70 Cudas specifically the AARs.

I was never enamored with Hemi E bodies, they are ok but just never did it for me same as the 71 Cudas, not my thing.

You contributed in 2015 at the top of this page.
I never did on this thread though.

I find it interesting that everyone's avatar's have now disappeared.

70 M46 barracuda.   I've really grown to like the option and the look of the cars.

Now, a 71 hemi cuda is freakin awesome by all means.
