God I love the new epoxy paint I have found, stuff is durable and sticks very well to porous metals!!!

Finished the tranny mount and trim pieces. Have to mount the CF on the dash and it will start to look really good!

What product are you using for the primer?

I use PPG epoxy primer for my parts if that is what you are asking.

Your speed puts me to shame!! One year start to finish is incredible. Are you doing all the work yourself or do you have help? Keep up the good work!

Right now I'm doing all the work, but I had a bit of help along the way.

You definitely have to stay motivated otherwise you will have a cocoon of a car. I now think of it as a puzzle as I need to find or restore
what I have and that is half the battle.

Thanks!
Bryan

Hmmm white interior? Mine will be all black.

But I did get the front brake lines run successfully. Its a great feeling to have things go right for once!

Well got some trim issues and interior work done. My lovely upholstry guy did an aweful job of covering the rear interior sail panels, had to pull them out and rehit them with 3M 90 and it worked like a charm - no more bubbles.

Got the trunk weatherstrip on and it actually had the decklid sit where it should! Test fitted the SS drip rails and will put them all on today!

Thanks Mike

And I even stole enough time away today to put in the fuel vent tubes. Kinda a pain but it all worked out.

Wow what a great  :canada: newsflash. In the past I've been happy with PGclassics but after ordering a couple of seat tracks to complete my interior I'm a little less than happy. I ordered them last Weds and I still haven't got any tracking info on them so I login to my account on their website to see that there is a tracking number via fedex. Great! Pop it in and find out they don't have it. Then I call PG and find out they ONLY SHIP ON WEDS and apparently I ordered too late on the previous Weds to have it go out. Now I know WHY IT TAKES SO LONG TO GET PARTS FROM THEM!!!

Ughhh and another side fun note. I ordered some side marker lights and bezels as mine were trashed. If you look at their ebay listing they show them being already assembled. Guess what I got parts and they left out the interior gasket which holds the light to the bezel. Not freaking happy.

Looks like I'll be going elsewhere to buy my parts.....

At least be up front with me and tell me this stuff. Who friggin ships ONLY ONE DAY A WEEK?  :villagers:

It's tough trying to weed thru the slim pickings we have for E-body vendors. No doubt.

I have had to tweak most of my parts from P.G. Classic.

Be glad you didn't ante up the money for their 6-way seat tracks.   :22yikes:  That thing nearly got me killed. Anytime I nailed the gas, the front of the seat would come up and have me staring at my headliner.     :o

Well here we are again. Today I get the gaskets and guess what, they still won't go together with this equipment.

Here is the ebay ad:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/110818381962?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

Funny they look assembled there but this is what I got! Magically I guess the fedex guy was supposed to assemble them in flight.
