Let's just say someone saved something they shouldn't have, and hid it.

With the amount of power my motor will generate the last thing I'd like to see is the frame letting go.

Needless to say I'm not happy......

Well considering how good your car is looking, if you need to fix a frame rail so be it. I'd be angry as well, but your car has come so far.. Somehow I missed the photos of your grill last time around. That thing is a work of art!

Hang in there. :working:

Don't worry Brad I'll even replace the fram in this pic with a WIX!!!

I guess I could just use it for startup and then get rid of it....maybe.

I agree with Brad, At least you caught the frame repair before you assembled the car. Looks great...

Just keep piling on the parts.

Next up the alternator, power steering and then move onto the 4 speed and then starter/headers.

Enjoy!

Brian, that sux for sure.
like everyone else mentioned, better now then later with a possible failure.

Are you going to section the rail or replace the whole rail.
just an FYI the new replacment rails do not have the shock tower welded in place.

Dave

I had them do the whole new right front framerail and they also went over a bunch of welds that were less than spectacular.

Better now than later and better than breaking something later too! Can't wait to get the console now, getting close every day!
Funny thing is that I went to Oriellys today and they didn't even have an alternator for a 70 Cuda which I thought was kinda weird.

One more pic with progress.
