Tie off the loose end of those blue straps. Those are not the best kind to use because of their lack of ability to lock. :2cents:

Yeah when it was way up in the air I had them tied off, harking back to my offroad moto-x days.

The pic you are seeing is when it's pretty much done and had stands under it already. They do have beefy teeth and did not slip at all but I completely hear what you are saying and I'm so glad this part is over finally!!!

Good catch there, looks like I'll have to grab some and put them on.

I don't think it will be that bad since I don't have any shocks in there but we'll see. Might just have to remove the upper control arm nut.

Found them local here and put them on and hooked up my brakes again!

It wasn't that bad, just had to put a jack under the lower control arm and whammo made room and put her on!

Yeah I'm almost 100% sure it was bearing failure otherwise I wouldn't be keeping them.

Besides I have a SSBC on my other car which has had over 15 years of no hassle braking.

I agree but the rotor shouldn't have broke like that. If it had held his wheel wouldn't have come off.  I don't allow those style of rotors at the circle track I work at just for that reason. Just my 2 cents.... :-[ :sadwavey:
At least check to make sure the rotors are not offshore crap. They are NOT the same material, that I know for a fact.
