Couple of engine bay questions
« on: March 28, 2012 - 06:57:35 PM »
A few questions related to the engine bay harness and some of the accessories.
1973 Challenger, 360 motor
A/C
Manual pump washer

1. What does the A/C compressor blue wire hook up to?

2. What two connections do the A/C drier connect to?

3. Since I have a manual washer foot pump, what on earth does it look like?
I think that this would normally be powered by the brown wire.

4. The grey wire- does this connect to the electronic choke?
Is this correct?

5. I think the Blue wire connects to the Dark Gwen wire for the HVAC blower motor.
Just want to be sure.
Thanks!
Dan

no clue on the A/C stuff but the choke should connect to the blue 12v switched circuit

A lil more info.
this is the fan A/C compressor line to the temp/dryer.
Technically the wire coming from the dryer switch should be 18 Ga (dark blue wire) and connect to the compressor.

Here is the schematic:

So here's the dilemma.
The schematic shows the dj green blower wire going thru the grommet, however, my research shows that it connects to the dark blue power source on the engine bay harness, which I believe feeds the HVAC.

So the question is... Where does that other wire go?
