well i bought this beauty 2 years ago original 383, colume, shift bench seat car, the car popped up on craigslist talked it over with my fiance and drove to Ontario Ca about two hours from where i live, not knowing what to exspect the guy rolls up his garage door with a sick 70 rally red AAR Cuda and a 70 convertable Cuda he takes us around back to show us the car well yup sure is a Cuda haha my woman looks at the car in shame as she already knows how much its going to cost and can see the dollar bill flying out of our pockets car seems pretty solid look like minor rust and just needs some lovin haha been fooled again but i was up for the challenge got her home and began to clean her up started buy gutting the car and cleaning found probably 50 pounds of squirll poop in the car stacked up to the quarters. i began to powerspray it couple of spiders here and there what ever heres the funny part after rolling it in the garage for the night only to come out to a garage infested with black widows spiders and babies thousands all over the place crawing all over my freshley done 70 challenger i was in hell  after all was said and done and 5 cans of raid i began to rip it apart more heres what ive got done so far

updated pics got a lil work done to it finished removing all the windows and door latching hardware removed the last metal of the old roof around the rear window removed the tail lights and cuda emblem got the wheels on her to roll it around for awhile since im replacing the tranny in my challenger for vibe issues. car should hopefully be going to the sand blaster this weekend or next so heres some pics

did some work on the 'Cuda today removed the inn and outer door structure pieces

Black widows scary!! I ran into one in a honey bucket in California, Marine combat training, Reached for the toilet paper and right next to my head was a fat black widow shaking it's web , you know how spiders get torked and shake thier web. I ran out of there with my cammies around my ankles. 

  Looks like you got everything you need to put that Cuda back together and thanks for saving another one from becoming one with the earth.

I can't believed they dipped these cars!  I had no idea until I read a post yesterday...  good thing they did or it would have returned to earth for sure!   :clueless:

Yeah I always wondered why there were so many drain plugs! Until Cody showed me in a book that they were ran through a primer pit and immersed all the way up to the window tops.

well i finally got some work done yesterday got the rocker panel off just need to serperate the doorjamb from the old  rocker and cleanup the inner rocker area thinking about por15 hows everyone feel on that?

Don't know whether it's the thing to use for this or not, but if you do go with POR 15 make sure you use their prep spray. There's practically no adhesion without it.
