CP...that truck looks BAD.  Did the driver survive?  OUCH!!

Hey Sinsister68...that looks just like my truck!  You like???  We drove to a movie theater the other night and they had a off duty police officer outside for security.  He was standing next to his truck as we drove in (2004 blue 1500 hemi, chrome pkg, etc.)   When we got out of the movie, he was still there so went to look at it (and decided we liked black better).  The cop came over and asked if that was our truck that drove in earlier and when we said yes, he said..."you're going to love it!! It will leave a smile on your face every time you drive it."  Cool guy.

I definately love it.  I drove a long bed, and I was suprised that the short bed rode much nicer.  I does get up and move if you push hard on that pedal, but I found that it has about twice as much travel as the accelerator pedal in my old F150.  That will take all of about 20 minutes to get used to.  I kinda feel bad for the truck becasue I'll be putting some seroius miles on it in the next few years, but how can I resist.  I'd deffinately recommend the HEMI 1500 to anyone.

Funny thing is.....  So do I.  But with all honesty, it wasn't that bad.  They discounted the daylights out of it, there are a bunch of factory rebates that I qualified for and I had been saving for a while so I had a small but sloid down payment.  I am only playing $30 more per month than I was on the '97 F150 I was driving.  There are so many useless options on this truck that I didn't need and some that I didn't want.  I really didn't want power seats becasue I hate standing in the rain waiting for the seat to go back after my wife drives.  It has dealer installed door edge guards that raised the price $1000.  Didn't need them.  It has a 6 disc cd player don't need it.  It has dealer applied undercoating and fabric protector that raised the price another $1000.  plus some other useless features that brought the price way up.  I told them that I didn't want all that stuff, but they really wanted to sell me the truck, so the discounted it below all of that.  It was either that or they were going to watch me walk out of there, and apparently they didn't want that.
