best option is to have them wrapped in vinyl. Just dashes is the only one that i know of that does this process. but i would think any quality trim shop should be able to as well.

AS for manufacturing these panels. It is HIGHLY doubtful that they will be made.

I wonder if Hemi Ken has had any luck with his efforts to get them made...  He mentioned he was looking into it in this thread...

Hey guys, i thought i would jump in. I have had meetings with plastic injection mould makers. It looks like i may be able to make something happen here in Australia, i have been tied up with my work commitments and trying to launch my new shifters that i have not had time to chase it up more. But it does look promising, what i really need is at least one NOS or close to perfect rear interior side panels to be able to copy, I may have access to a NOS 'Cuda panel, but will be in need of the same panel to suit a Challenger, if anyone can help - that would be great.
I should be able to use only one side of the interior panel of either car to copy from and should not need a set, the reason being is that when i talked to these guys, they said they can capture everything about the panel by scanning it and duplicating it in reverse.
So as soon as i get some spare time, i will be chasing this up some more. It would be handy if i could get my hands on the formula for the colours used on the current door panels that have been sold prior by Metro, this would aid in matching up rear panels in the correct hue once i get established.
Hang tuff guys, i am trying to make this happen and bring them to fruition for all of us guys who do not have these interior panels at all. :2thumbs:

I just find it odd that Accuform and Palco can make rear 'vert panels, but Metro couldn't get it done.

Looks like Just Dashes is the way to go.  $$$, and slightly incorrect, but what  you going to do?

IMO the Just Dashes ones suck.... I should know, I had mine done by them & wasn't happy then & I'm not any happier now.... The mid panel detail line has no detail, it should have two defined right angles creating a square bottomed groove instead it's round... The grain is completely wrong... It may be the best option for now but it's not a very good option....

Why couldn't these be replicated in a 3-D printer?

Perhaps the fact Palco/Accuform already sold a piece of crap to people who while they aren't happy with what they have it fills the void so they will live with it rather than commit to spending another 1K for a proper reproduction.... So when Metro can't get 100 people to commit they can't justify spending 75K of their own $$$ hoping there's more demand than those who committed to buy prior to production..

Which is one of the things that really pisses me off when vendors bring a poorly done "reproduction" part to market..

Hemiken I hope your listening... If you can't do a part of the quality that Metro has done with the rest of the interior panels then PLEASE DON'T BOTHER DOING THEM AT ALL...

Same deal on 3D Printing, I work with 3D Printed parts quite a bit & I'm not as impressed with them as people who know the technology exists but don't handle parts made on a 3D printer... They are fine for rapid prototyping they are not fine for durable daily use parts....

Hi Randy,

One thing i will make sure of is that the panels that i get made, will be of exacting quality equal to or better than what Metro released, as the Metro panels are the bench mark to what i would do these panels to. Otherwise it would be a waste of my time and money, and i am by no means in any position to be able to take on that kind of work to just blow it off as an exercise buddy. I am just a regular guy who takes on one day at a time, and i work solo. I have been on the Metro list and even originally started that wanted list many years ago now on Moparts, these are something i would be passionate about doing, and nothing short of perfect would do, because if i would not use them, i do not expect any other person to even look at them.
It is a case of me not being in a financial position to even look at doing these kind of exercise yet is the problem, even though guys are screaming for these right now, i just can not afford to start the ball rolling financially, but i have conversed with a mould maker and had a couple of meeting to make these a reality.
A point that i stipulated and he had no problem with, is that i would be able to do them in any of the colours i choose, and i could order as limited amount or maximum amount of each colour at any time i wanted, which i thought was encouraging, as he wants to help me to help you guys at the same time.
So if everyone can be a bit patient, i personally will try make these a reality as they are a very needed item for all of us. :2thumbs:

Hey, if this all can happen Hemiken, within two years, I'd be more than grateful!

Would you also do front door and hardtop panels or just rear 'verts?  Seems like you'd need to at least do front doors to match any grain pattern/colors of the rears.

Hey Rob,

I want to get on to these as soon as i financially can, but i did take in to consideration to do the door panels also, as i need full hard top interior in Tan coloured plastic also, plus a need for other colours that were not introduced. I want to cater for people's needs who do not have any of the other colours that were not available as well. And i do not want to step on anyone's toes who already offer the colours that are currently available, i will have to get in touch with Dave and find out a few things with what he will be offering for hardtop interior panels and colour choice. As thing happen and different opportunities present themselves, i will be all over them like a rash, as these are something i need also. :2thumbs:

I sure would be interested in gold panels should I ever decide to go back factory with my Gran coupe.

It will be things like this that i would be able to perform in single ordering at same or similar cost to other colours i have been told. So i am looking forward to being at that stage where i can help all that need these specialty coloured trim parts. :2thumbs:
