« on: April 06, 2012 - 09:21:36 AM »
Think i installed the defroster/floor heat door in wrong. The lever where the cable attaches swivels front to back and i think it should swing left to right. Can anyone check theirs? Also does that cable that operates this door have a 90 degree bend at one end?and if so at which end?

"usraptr" = United States raptor - bird of prey = United States Bald Eagle.  FYI, somebody else thought of it first so I had to drop the "O" in raptor.

Wow usraptr . . . That looks great!  You did that yourself?  Very cool . . I just pulled mine out today and need to replace the heater core in the morning.   Maybe next winter . . . I could try to make it look as good as yours.

Thanks, yes I did do it myself.  Cleaned all the metal parts, motor, etc and then sprayed with paint.  Used the foam/gasket kit from Detroit Muscle ( I think that's the right name) and after reassembly sprayed the case with matte clear.
