Some interesting Cuda and Challenger Barn Finds....
« on: April 07, 2012 - 12:37:37 AM »
A few months back I went and followed up on a craigslist posting for a bunch of Mopars in a barn.  Well here is the story with the cars.  And one story is really close to home!

Hope them cars get saved.

I'd like to have the Cuda, but the title thing is a nightmare to deal with.

Very nice story, Ryan.

Did you want your old Barracuda back?  Any thoughts of that?  :clueless:

I always enjoy reading about your latest expedition, and look forward to the next.  The combination of text, pix & the personal angle is great.  Thanks for posting!

I thought about it for a minute, but he was asking way too much.

I have something tucked away for a rainy day though.

When you're out looking for these cars, how do you approach the owners?  There's a 71 Road Runner about 10 miles from my house sitting behind a barn.  The house is all run down but someone does live there.  I'm afraid of getting shot or something if I try asking about it. :clueless:

If the house isn't easy to get too, like you need to drive down a driveway or such.  I will leave a note in the mail box or such.  If not, go up and knock on the door.  Tell them you aren't there to buy the car, but you like muscle cars and wanna hear the story about it.

I enjoy your stories, Ryan. That 300H is a rad car. I would definitely rock one of those... I hope I find a challenger like the one in the barn sometime soon!   :2thumbs:
