House was about what I expected-plumbing all there, wiring looked OK,maybe a few small issues, most of the work is cosmetic stuff i an handle. There are a couple other offers on it but they are taking multiple offers for a little longer so I can still get in.the realtor is getting me more info tomorrow and if things look good I may make an offer.

Wow, gorgeous house. Hard to believe 10 years later the house is "worth" 100 large less. Horses? Ya got me! Six grand is a big real estate nut, but that's NH, no 'taxes' but they have to pay the cops and fire somehow. If you don't have it already you'll need a large Ariens or plow on a tractor to clear that driveway, looks like a runway from the pics! Best of luck with this, be advised if the realtor isn't lying to you, and they DO lie, and there's multiple interests on the property, it could turn into an auction and the final selling price could be in excess of the asking price, but you knew that! I know nothing about log homes... I would assume they're more prone to pest issues and have higher mntx issues as a result... have you researched this?

Don't fall in love with a property. The 'right' one will be your home... is this the right one? Stay tuned and have patience! Best of luck!!

I don`t know anything about log homes so I`ll need to do some research but it looks pretty solid overall.I have a plow for my truck but I`m gonna need a riding lawn mower for all that frikkin grass!  :banghead: Yup-Nh has no state tax so you pay it all in real estate taxes.i`m going to make an offer I feel comfortable with and see what happens,if I don`t get it i`ll keep looking but I love that BIG garage.

... but I love that BIG garage.

Honey, you can build a big garage anywhere. If there was a house with a 'big garage' on a major highway with a nuke plant on
one side and a sewerage treatment plant on the other, would you still love the house? Get my drift?

Your house will be the right house! This 'might' be it! Patience! But I'd be researching log homes, their mntx and issues pretty thoroughly right now, that's just me. Good luck!!!!!
