Good, I figured that first one was poorly done. If there were a lot like that I certainly would've noticed them before.

Could there be a mild amount of flex of the spoiler or compression/misadjustment of the trunk lid bumpers that might actually allow contact of the spoiler when closing, enought that the decals would serve as "scratch/scuff guards" if the spoiler contacts the body?  :clueless:  That might make more sense than sun faded paint.

That's exactly what I was wondering about when I first mentioned "cosmetic vs. functional", and if that's the case then it definitely makes sense to get them.
