power brake conversions

I have seen a few threads on this topic but not one that specifically addresses all my question.  I have a 1970 plymouth barracuda.  It had manual drum brakes from the factory.  I switched it to disc brakes from a 73 cuda. My question pertains to the conversion process to power brakes.  I have the line kit and valves from inline tube fro power disc brakes.  I purchased a power brake booster and MC for the car.  The booster has 4 studs coming out from the rear.  I have seen pictures where it appears there should be some sort of a bracket on the back of the booster.  Is this correct? Does this bracket bolt directly to the firewall?  Where do I get one? Is there any difference in the linkage from the pedal to the booster and how can I correct that?

You will need the firewall booster bracket for power brakes it has 4 holes plus the pedal rod hole in it.I am sure someone here has one,you will need a different brake pedal rod for power brakes.

the booster has a linkage rod with it but isnt there a bracket or mechanism that mounts down by the brake pedal somewhere for power brakes?

the plate should be attached to the rear of the booster , the 4 bolts should go into the pedal braket & pinch the firewall between both , there is a linkage specific to factory power brakes & it can be difficult to locate , the aftermarket boosters often have a rod that just attaches right onto the pedal .

The new booster I have is from NAPA.  When I ordered it I ask for stock booster for my car.  The MC is already attached and the stud pattern coming off the rear of the booster has a larger spread than the master cylinder (which oringinally bolted straight onto the firewall).  Can anyone get me a picture of the booster, bracket set-up on the firewall side and anything that mght be different under the dash?  I know, I know, I am a pain in the ___!
