I think that's the same spoiler I have, with the ducts. Did you look into it; is this guy still around?

Just read the thread and that might be a different guy. His are ABS and mine is fiberglass.

i would rather have an ABS one. my wife has a volkswagen with an abs spoiler on the front, and its lowered, and shes a girl and hits everything with it. its scratched and scraped up but it still looks good and holds its shape. if it was fiberglass, it would have been long gone the first week.

I tend to agree.

I went back and read the thread more carefully. If I'm clear on it, he's saying that he's looking for a fiberglass version for a master for Challengers. I wrote and told him I have one.

Ok I have to give my  :2cents: I have messed around with alot of front spoilers and these truly work great for the track obviously, they were set up for the track,

but do you truly think it will work on the street? one low spot ,even pulling in to your drive way it is going to hit at some point and trash the thing

I know this cause I HAVE ONE and it is way to low to work on the street unless you have perfect pavement we dont here in Colorado

I have seen more low cars with there lowering kit just trashed ,SO JUST A THOUGHT before you spend the bucks......perhaps this is one reason they are so rare they are not practical for street use  :eek2:

Appreciate the opinion, and you're certainly right that clearance is a concern. That being said, I drove for a couple of years with my fiberglass version without a problem.

JoltinJoe, if you follow the link to the moparts thread, he lists his e-mail in his profile.

I got a response from him. Apparently he tried to sell Challenger pieces, but needs (I think) 10 preorders, and didn't get them from moparts. I asked him he he had advertised here or considered it. We'll see what happens.

Appreciate your sharing with the group.  It is a very attractive piece.  I like the material it is made out of for the reasons of durability.  What would the effect be to handling on a convertible with sway bars front and rear.   Would it be more of a visual impact our would it help handling.

Any such piece, if it's installed and braced properly will produce some downforce, starting at about highway speed. Beyond that, it depends on what you expect from it. For the bulk of the driving any of us would do (and I'm definitely in the spirited driving category) it would be mostly for appearance. If you're not on a road track the only time I could see it coming into play would be during a sweeping turn on an interstate.

If you have a Cuda, I think he said he still had one from that run. If you have a Challenger, be on the lookout for a thread to pre-order a group buy.

I have a MAS spoiler, which is a bit less high than this one, that for sure helps keeping the nose down at speeds over
140mph
