Cudaguy is coming by tomorrow. Hope he likes his new engine
« on: April 21, 2012 - 11:23:36 PM »
Don's on leave from service. He is bringing me a dana 60 for his car, he hasn't drove it in quite a while. I'm hoping he will love the difference in the engine . He last drove it with a 318. He now has a 493 roller cam bb.  I added around 400 more hp then what he was driving last  :grinyes:  I hope he likes his new combo.

Well, if he's really disappointed in it, tell him I'll take it. Just so you have something to do with it

Tell Don hey, and I hope you guys have a good time.

If he doesn't notice the added horsepower, I'll bet he notices the change in his gas mileage, ha.  But I am sure that it is going to be like having a new car.

:roflsmiley: :clapping:  Poor Don, I'm surprised Jason hasn't commented! I'm guessing this will improve Dons reputation some though!  :aarg:

We had a super great day today, Wade cc.c member showed up also. We grilled brats, Ribeyes, corn on the cob, baked sweet potatos, garlic toast, sautade mushrooms, peppers and onions. We had a feast, thanks to my wife Peggy.

Then we played out in the shop with Don's car for a few hours. He left me a dana 60 to assemble to install in his car.  I think he liked his new engine.  His dad was suprised at the performance level he chose . He got in it and chirped the tires himself while we were just chatting away, then got out with a grin from ear to ear.

Discussion topics of the day were cam degreeing, timing, roller cam costs, cam buttons, distributor phasing and ignition systems, points , chrysler electronics, and msd, mallory and stuff.  I wish the day wasn't coming to an end. I always enjoy it when cc.c members come down this lonesome deadend gravel road.

They got to view the club banner I am mailing to Mike.  Thanks MEK for seeing it through for me..............
