SRT-71 Dodge Charger...
« on: April 24, 2012 - 01:04:28 AM »
Check this out.  I'm driving my son to soccer last Saturday and look in the side view mirror.  I don't see 1 but 2 Vipers creeping up on me, a red and a blue one, but really gets me excited was this car behind it, a custom '71 Charger.  It was really cool since I see so few muscle cars on the road around Boston and I remember specifically getting a Mopar magazine because this was the cover car and it had a Massachusetts license plate.  Once the traffic opened up those 3 cars were gone really fast.

Looks like a butchered up 71.  It's neat and all, but wtf.  Daytona wing, Fiat engine and messed up doors/fenders. :banghead:

Cool looking car. Shows I wasn't too far off in my "future cuda" idea!

That car is way cool; thanks for sharing Phil. And it even has the recall wheels on it (probably the repops, though). Whoever did that car is a man after my own heart

Yeah!  Now that's wicked!

I like that big ugly wing.  Everything about that car screams fast!

Yeah, it might not be everyone's cup of tea but it was impressive driving by me.  Personally I think it's pretty cool, they paid a lot of attension to detail.

They have a series of winged cars.  http://www.71wingcars.com/categories.aspx?id=4

The only thing that looks out of place are the door scallops.

Cool car and really enjoyed the video at the first link.  About the only thing I would've passed on is the door scallops, love the look and it works for me.

P.S.  Here is link to video of their 71 Superbird:

They're not what I would have done, but I can live with them. It's settled; if he gives it to me, I'll take it.

The red one from the link looks factory, should have released it that way.
