The problem is on my 06 Daytona. I don't drive it much, other than playing musical cars and to get the dust off the tires. It's always started and run fine, but a few days ago I tried to fire it up for it's weekly move and it cranks but doesn't fire. I added Sta-bil to the fuel and keep it hooked to a battery tender to keep the charge up. I shot a little starting fluid into the air box and it fires but dies once the fluid is gone. I've turned the key to on and let it sit for a few seconds and it still won't fire. I've hooked it up to my code reader and the only code I get is wrong oil, but it's been like that since I brought it to Puerto Rico. My first thought is dead fuel pump, but I don't want to change that if I don't have to. Is there a way to test fuel pressure at home? If it was the Challenger I'd just unhook a fuel line, or look in the glass filter. Is it possible to disconnect the fuel line from the rail and crank it to see if there's pressure? I added some fresh fuel and a bottle of injector cleaner today just in case the fuel had gone bad or the injectors were gummed up, but it still didn't fire.
