I have a question for you on the Challenger.  I am in the final stages of attaching my A/C lines and i am looking at the picture of the firewall where the evaoprator box connectors are located.  I have a plated bracket that attaches to the larger hex-end (compressor line in, i think) and bolts/screws to the firewall above the seam.  I noticed that you don't have that.  Did that car not come with one, was it a super early build car (min is 12/69).  i just need to find out if the screw holding it down is a phillips head, or hex head.  thanks!!

Ahhhhh.   Ok.  I get it now.  Actually I do the same thing when ever I am working with engine parts just so I know what bolts go back in the correct spot since some might have different hole depths than others.

See the the light blue side stripe on a white 70 Challenger is 1 of 1 from the factory.  Even allowing for later mods by others, I've never seen this combination before.  Looks great!

This Valiant also came with another Broadcast Sheet from a different area of the car.  If you like, I can post a photo of that one!

I would  very much like to see where the other broadcast sheet came from.

The inspection date is my birthday. Add 6 years to that though.

That car is perfect love black cuda's 70,71. Chally's also 70, 71 triple blacks.    Nice pics perfect reference shots for restorer's.

Funny you mentioned that Norelco razor trick Dave.  I did the same thing on our original carpet in our 70 El camino SS396 that has a black carpet.  Trick worked great.  I recalled my grandmother having a small razor like thing to remove "pilling" of material on sweatshirts and other fabrics.  Basically little balls that would form on the clothing.  The razor removed the ball like material and never touched the smooth surface of the clothing.  We had the same result as you, a brand new appearing carpet (only without the brand new smell)

Is it still there or did that get deleted too like the post I had on there inquiring what was the most correct factory exhaust was?  If I would have know that would have happened, I would have saved that too as that had a lot of good information pertaining to different types of exhaust systems.
