Slant Six Air Cleaners - info needed
« on: April 28, 2012 - 05:32:25 PM »
I was looking at this

http://www.ebay.com/itm/230781970734?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

Now, it's been years since I worked on my mother's slant six Charger, but I don't recall the air cleaner being offset like this one is. Is my memory faulty; were they all like this? And does anyone know the lid width?

Never seen that one before, but then again I haven't really paid much attention to /6 stuff.
Have you seen this site before? Might give you some idea's?

Thanks, Brad. You or somebody turned me on to that site before. It's got lots of good info (and I was finally able to ID my dual snorkel), but it focuses on performance motors, and the only performance slant sixes I'm aware of were those 6 bbl hemi slant sixes from down under. I still want one of those
