    1970 challenger v code r/t s/e

    I found a 70 Chally r/t s/e v code Dana drag car. It isn't a full tubbed drag car but could be converted to the street easy. No title or fender tag or broadcast sheet :(
    Has no matching everything (racecar) and the body and top are in really good shape.
    Any ideas on what the car is worth in today's market? Plus it's 9hrs away from me..
    Thinking of selling my 70 Cuda if this deal comes together to have some $ to put into the Chally..

    Well...let's say it's fully restored with a date-coded engine.

    Maybe $60k.  So...figure in restoration costs and initial purchase to make it worth it.

    Without a Fender Tag, Build Sheet, or Matching numbers I don't think it will ever be worth any where near $60k again. If it was really nicely restored it may see closer to $40k but it will cost more to get it to that point. Unless it is really cheap and you have most of the parts I would find one with some documentation instead. I believe there is a project one on moparts right now with a fender tag and it's a real TX9 Black car as well. I think it is less then $20k which is still a little high in my opinion.

    Any convertible is not going to be cheap. Either pay on the front end or the back end. Good luck.

    I don't think this was a convertible.

    I know this goes against Mopar religion, but now that you brought it up I'm not a big fan of convertibles.   Just means more for everyone else!   :clapping:  Can really appreciate them, but I don't have a desire to own one.

    A convertible would've gotten a much different reponse from me. We are not talking about a convertible as far as I know.

    If it's this one, be careful to check the identity of the car.
    There was NO VIN TAG or either Fender Tag, Build Sheet. The only statement for being a JS29V0 was this VIN sticker. 

    CAN you trust it being a V code???
