Finally Found Something!
« on: February 08, 2005 - 10:09:10 PM »
After many years of traveling through many small towns and remote areas, I finally snagged one!! I was driving back from a job in a small town in central Utah and went through a smaller town on my way back and spotted this Coronet. I pick it up Saturday!  :grinyes:  I probably paid way too much but I wanted it because it was a 4 speed car. Is $500.00 way too much? LOL
Haven't got it home yet, won't rest easy till it is safe and sound in my barn! Has a big block missing the heads and manifold, rest of drive train is intact, not sure on the numbers yet on the car, couldn't see all the block numbers, there was an R and a 38 and maybe I just couldn't see the rest and it may have said R 383. The fender tag is: WH23H4RPPIQ Anyone know the breakdown past Dodge two door hardtop?

I'd say that's a pretty good deal!  I could imagine that being a really sweet ride!  Let us know when it comes home.

Congrats P6P, that looks like a great buy!  I really like the styling on coronets from that year.  Looks like the odds and ends of most of the trim and grille are there too.  Can't beat a 4 speed anything in my opinion.

Thanks everyone, it's actually pretty solid except for the rear quarters over the wheels and then the lower rear quarters to the bumper. I haven't been able to get in the trunk yet but looking from under the car it looks okay, I am crossing my fingers but won't be dissapointed if it is bad. With a factory 4 speed it is well worth the 500.00 and for that price it's pretty nice! I'll post when I get it in the barn. Gotta finish the Challenger before starting on this. At least I want to keep it. My best friend and I are discussing that right now. Actually it's my sweetheart, no not Burpin!! Geeesh.  :grinno:
My wife!!  :grinyes:

Which one you talking about P6P? I do have a 1969 Super Bee which is a Coronet, and the last real Coronet I had...well let's not go there.  :grinyes:
