Thanks everyone, it's actually pretty solid except for the rear quarters over the wheels and then the lower rear quarters to the bumper. I haven't been able to get in the trunk yet but looking from under the car it looks okay, I am crossing my fingers but won't be dissapointed if it is bad. With a factory 4 speed it is well worth the 500.00 and for that price it's pretty nice! I'll post when I get it in the barn. Gotta finish the Challenger before starting on this. At least I want to keep it. My best friend and I are discussing that right now. Actually it's my sweetheart, no not Burpin!! Geeesh.  :grinno:
My wife!!  :grinyes:

oh so you will wine and dine Burpin when Burpin comes to town but you wont admit to Burpin being your sweetheart. Well Burpin isnt like a scooter, you know fun to ride but you dont want your buddies to know about it. NOW FESS UP TO IT BUDDY, TELL THEM we are friends. LOL, its a great find. It could have been completely unfixable and the 4 speed was worth 500.

6Pak, when I got up this morning and checked my mail and saw the subject line, I thought to myself"Good God what is he up to now"? Great find! Wonder how long that sat there waiting for you to rescue her? Glad to hear she found a good home and that  (your sweetheart)she's happy about it too. My first thought when I saw the pics we're,  whats his wife gonna say? lol

I talked to the owner yesterday and it is still on for tomorrow. Sometimes you find something like this then it falls through for weird reasons, the kid decides he wants it, the wife takes claim on it, someone offers more for the car or who knows but this guy says all is well and I can pick it up tomorrow morning as planned. Like I said, won't feel great about it till it's on the trailer and headed for home.
Here's what I'd like to see it turn out like, this is a 67 but I just happened to have this picture on my computer. Maybe not even this color but just try to get it looking this good. Thanks everyone for all of your comments!

So we'll see new pics tomorrow night??  I could imagine that being a very cool car.  What color are you thinking about?

Not my B-Day cudahob, just because I am getting the car maybe? It might just turn out to be just the opposite when I tell my wife I'm keeping it!  :gripe:

4C, Rev, maybe PC isn't a bad idea! Who knows, it'll be a while so I can change my mind a hundred times before then just like I have the Chally! Fun to have it to make plans for though! I will get some more pictures once I get it in it's stall. (in the barn)   :grinyes:

Hey Plum6Pak,
That's a great find. Like you said, the outside paint is probably the last of your worries. My 2 cents though, I don't think anything had plumb-crazy before 1970. I love the color though.
