Thanks for that good info, I know for sure that my push rods were to short I had the adjuster screw almost fully at their maximum adjustment from what I have gathered they only should be one or two threads past the bottom edge of the roller of the rocker arm for a correct length push rod, and the adjustable part of the rocker is for preload only, which sounds as if it should be 3/4 turn past that. Hughes sent me the adjustable push rod and lifter tool to measure the correct length of the push rod. Hopefully I can get my valve train geometry correct using this as my starting point, the sad thing is I had a very reputable mopar engine builder build my engine too.
