Road Worthy once more
« on: May 12, 2012 - 04:40:46 PM »
Well I had hoped to have the car out a lot sooner, but leaky valve covers, a brake replacement and some electrical gremlins kept it in the garage for the past few weeks.  However this week I finally managed to get all that behind me and took the car out for a short cruise and snapped a picture of it.

It's nice to have a picture of it parked somewhere other than in my driveway/garage :)

The wild custom paint jobs don't always work for me, but this one does.  When I see your car, it makes me think of Starsky & Hutch...

 :iagree:

Too many guys chose to ignore the lines of the car and to look at the sheet metal as nothing more than a bare canvas for whatever paint they happened to be in the mood for. This paint accentuates the car's lines.

Thanks for the compliments.  The paint job is a bit out there,  but it was really high quality work.  I wouldn't want it on my daily driver..but on my classic it works :)

Hey with the Starsky and Hutch video...is that a sublime Cuda at the 49 second mark.. right when they introduce Starsky?

Jamiez, I showed my kids your above picture. They all loved it. My oldest ( 16 ) replied "SICK!!!" I think thats a good thing?

Well I spent a few hours this weekend getting it nice and clean for future photos

It looks really good when it's all washed and waxed :)
