Tilt Steering Wheels?
« on: May 13, 2012 - 06:47:55 AM »
Does anyone know when the tilt steering wheel option started in the E-body? And when it did, no doubt it had an option number. Would anyone know that code number?

I am going to say "NO". I know the full-size bombers did, but not in the Challengers. If they did, it's something super rare, like low single digit production numbers if it did...

The codes are S61 and S62, for '69-'71, and again, I am 99.9% positive that it is a C-body only deal.

If you're not concerned with originality, Flaming River offers a tilt-wheel column for e-bodies.

I agree, no tilt-wheels.
