After you set the float level, when you open the site plugs you can see the fuel level with the bottom of the plug hole?
Yepp. Fuel level aligned with bottom of threads.
I had bent the choke arm back by accident... Out of reach. Now it starts cold and runs.
I used the timing light on it, and the mark is somewhere between I'd say 35-40 at peak rpm... Markings only go to 10...
Any idea what this means ? Why is it that far away from 0....?
And another thing... I just learned where the power valve is...
When I got the center carb rebuild kit I changed that old power valve (6.5) with the new one(don't know what number) from the kit.
Didn't know what it was at the time but it looked important, so I changed it.
This kit... 37-1543 -

This is fun. I'm gonna have to pick the entire carb apart again, aren't I...? Live and learn.
