    I saw an episode of Trucks or Muscle Car on spike TV. They ran a new Hemi with the ez-efi system on top and the MSD ignition controller for the spark. Started it up and started dyno pulls as soon as it warmed up!  If you don't need a computer to control your automatic trans or run a manual tranny, I would go for this setup. I have an EZ-EFI setup on my 440 Challenger now.

    Just learning here.... so what if you do need a computor to control your automatic?  I'm using a simple shift controler now.

    Ah gotcha... your meaning the stock auto/modern Hemi set up. :2thumbs:

    These ECU's are made here in New Zealand and are a well made product. I have used a few for conversions but not for a hemi yet unfortunatly.

    These ecu's are $2300 they do cheaper options starting at $1600. We have a lot of options for after market engine management down here, it is surprising to me how few options you guys have.

    For a 3G hemi swaps there are not so many options...

    Majority of the aftermarket units can´t read hemi crank and cam sensor, this is the problem. Of course it is possible to add extra trigger wheel etc. to get everything running.

    I used an OEM PCM tuned by Squire...        Made my own engine harness as a stand alone unit.    :cooldancing:

    This is interesting, do you mind telling me how much this cost you. As of right now I still plan on buying a PCM from modern and probably the harness too but just curious.

    The PCM cost me $50.00 off Ebay - sent it to Squire and had it tuned for about $500 which includes a new Diablo InTune (looks like an iPhone) ---  Harness I scored for $100 and spent maybe $30 to modify it (heat shrink, solder, relays)  and a butt load of time.  but now it's second nature.

    I have the full wiring harness out of my donor vehicle for my 6.1. I was hoping to do what you did but it seems a little over wheeling at times. So was it basically just cutting out the parts that will not be used?

    You can use the large fuse blocks and all that - the easiest way would be isolate the engine harness and part of the dash harness - then remove items not needed and replace the large fuse block with a relay pack and make it more of a stand alone harness.     I'll write up some stuff in my build thread on basic wiring for the 3G hemi

    I have it somewhere but the problem is in the newer manuals the wiring pin out is something like 40-50 pages for the PCM - I am making a condensed list right now which is whats taking so long.
