THINKING OF CONVERTING MY REGULAR 70RT HOOD TO A SHAKER I HAVE QUESTIONS

I bought an AMD shaker hood for my 70 challenger an it fit like a glove.
The only complaint I had is it need a little work where they welded the under hood supports.  There was a little wave from the weld. The AMD hood is a little thinner metal than stock
