Challenger Hood Edge Moulding - how many are there?

The 72-74 cross section is different than 71.  The 72-74 hood moulding is also thicker.  I have used the 72-74 hood moulding on the T/A hood. To tie it all in I used a semi gloss black on the hood moulding and on the edges of the headlight buckets where the 70 Challenger would have bezels.  I wish I had a pic to show what I am trying to say.

I think I get what you're saying. Hard to say without seeing it, but I think I like the bright more, but you're right, any one color/finish used all the way around would do the trick.

Hey David, an idea that I was toying with as far as getting the hood trim and the surrounds on the headlights "chrome/steel looking" is to take aluminum tape used for duct work.

I bought a roll at Home depot a while ago but have yet to try it.  It comes in I think 3-4" wide rolls.  The hard part is trying it to not wrinkle on the curves around the head light.  Just a thought to tinker with.  Might try it some time once I get other stuff out of the way...

I dunno...that's a good idea, if I find it, I think it's in the tool box in the garage, I'll try heating it and see if it stretches/is more pliable.  Hopefully if the weather cooperates I'll be working on the yard this weekend and I'll try it out.

I recall heat messes up the glue on the tape. Doesn't stick right after heating it up.
I couldn't get it to stick on hot metal either.
