New guy in Atlanta. 71 Cuda
« on: May 31, 2012 - 12:12:08 PM »
Hello everyone,
I want to introduce myself.  As you can see, I mix it up a little from stock.  :) Nothing has been altered that can keep it from going back to stock.
It was a rotisserie restoration. It was joint effort with a few people. I had FistyMopar assemble and get it running. I finished last fall, but had a few setbacks with engines. :(  Just doing the final tweaks with carburation on the new motor by Bobby Joseph Racing.
It's been the typical restoration: expensive, frustrating, fun!
I"ll add a post about the Carb situation next.

Welcome to CC.Com

Great looking Cuda
I really like what you did with the hood scoops  :ylsuper:
The under carriage looks super clean - I guess Atlanta roads are cleaner than OKC's  :roflsmiley:

Again - great to have you here
Ron

Hello gang.
Thanks for the welcome.
Oldschool.. I'm in Woodstock. right by 575. I hit the Wendy's at Dallas Hwy and Barrett earlier this month.
I converted all bulbs to LED, except the front turn signals.  soon though.
I'll post my carb issues in a few minutes. I could use some advice. I'm a novice at this carb "stuff".

That is probably the first Wendy's cruise I have missed in years..  LoL..
The Cartersville cruise is this Saturday evening. I should make it up there.
We are going to meet at the QT gas station at lower 92 and Cobb Parkway in Acworth at 3:00 and caravan north. Usually 8-10 cars meet up there, but I know several of us have other plans and won't make it up there. You are welcome to meet us and ride up with us. If you would rather just meet us up there, we usually park under the bridge, or nearby that area. Look me up and say hello.
I will be in a '69 fastback Barracuda that is green in color...   :2thumbs:   :rebel:
