how important is this part
« on: June 04, 2012 - 05:47:26 PM »
i went to install my windows and noticed that the tip of this little gizmo is busted on my other window.  i it interlocks with a plastic doodad wich i assume is an adjustment of some sort. am i going to be able to make this work if i install my window or should i hold off and try to find one?

I'd just call Dave at Roseville and get a kit and replace them all. Nothing worce than the window falling down over a few bucks?  :2cents:

Ya can't say I recognize that part? :clueless: I have a partial kit here from when I did mine and don't have anything that looks like that?

Hello there I am doing my windows now and that part is a component piece for (If I remember well) the front mounting piece that goes
thru window hole and allows you to put a mounting bolt. The piece you have shown is just one part the other is a metal washer looking thing
that is theaded in the middle and that plastic part connects to it. I will try and find a way to photo to help illustrate what I am trying to say
It is important for window mounting. Cuda Joy

i tried useing my old hardware but there's a ton of slop in the window so now i'm waiting for parts. well i shouldn't say i'm waiting, just moved on to the next bunch of parts to bolt on. i hate not finishing a job.
