Aluminum heads
« on: June 04, 2012 - 06:54:59 PM »
I found a set of aluminum heads this weekend and bit. They are mopar p4532900 bare heads they have never been on anything. Only the exhaust valves have been started. They will go on the 416 I'm building. Any thoughts or opinions on them. I'm also looking fOr a little more info on them.

Thanks
Steve

I do not have much to add , I have no personal experience with them , apparently the same part # was used for the Commando head & the Magnum so it could have shaft rockers or magnum stud type , the heads apparently flow 220 cfm intake [poor] or so without porting but can be made to work , you will have to complete the machining & seats etc , I hope you got them cheap enough .

I couldn't have gotten one new bare aluminum head for what I paid.
