70 barracuda gran coupe p5k4 interior
« on: June 06, 2012 - 05:24:43 PM »

I just picked this car up for $4500 it needs bottom quarters patched, part of the trunk pan, and a little rear window. The grill is shot, I have another hood for it. My plan for it is going to be new hemi, more than likely turbo'd through a A518 for the OD. I have the fender tag for it I am looking online for a decoder. The only spot that concerns me is the left rear quarter where the corner meets up it has been smashed in. Not sure how to go about fixing that. One thought was to find a doner piece and cut mine out and replace it. Any thoughts? I feel I got a good deal on the car, it is missing the headliner and overhead console, it is also a standard guage package.

I'll have to post pics from home later on tonight. I am trying to find pics of the interior in p5k4 is it the black with orange houndstooth?

Welcome. that sounds like a nice combo with the interior. Looking forward to seeing the finished product

Does anyone offer covers for this? Also my drivers door panel has the gran coupe emblem on it and is black. I'll have to pull them and see if they are orange on the inside. Does anyone know the paint code or supplier for it? The exterior color is go mango so orange on orange would look good I think

I do believe that the California built cars would have the v1x written twice like yours. So, the seventh digit in the vin should be an E.
