Front eyebrow spoilers for AAR
« on: June 08, 2012 - 06:29:13 PM »
I have ordered and received from YearOne the correct style ABS plastic front eyebrow spoilers for my AAR.  But the mounting instructions inside are impossible to figure out where or how to mount them.  Does anyone have pictures of where they go?  From the instructions it appears you mount them on the fender side around some existing hole I don't see. I have seen some mounted on the front fender opening lip, and you would  have to drill three holes in the front fender lip ahead of the tires. It doesn't seem like there is enough of a lip there to drill three holes, thanks for any help.

If I recall correctly, these were dealer-installed and final placement was all over the place as delivered.

Only 2 holes are on the fender.  The other one is on the front valance.  I'll try and get you a picture of the hole on my original fender if you'd like.

Here's a couple pictures of an original AAR fender (passenger side).  The horizontal dimensions are 2-1/2" and 6-3/16".  The vertical dimensions are 2-1/2" and 4-1/8".  The remaining hole on the valance can be roughly determined from these.

Thanks very much, this helps a lot to have original pictures of a set.  I have seen them all over the place on ones for sale, but I suspect many are not in the right place.

Can you add that picture to this?
