I recently had 2 offers in on condos (HUD foreclosures) and both were mysteriously pulled off the market. When the realtor couldn't get answers I went directly to the banks holding the bags. The LMOs told me they were "instructed" to 'work with the home owners' on new mortgages. And the banks aren't going to screw with feds especially when it comes to new mortgages down the road.
At best this is market manipulation by the gommit. At worst, its blackmail.
Foreclosures are a VERY good thing. The faster the real estate toilet is flushed in this country, the sooner it can recover.
The only reason Odummer has instructed the feds to stop foreclosures is to secure those votes in a couple of months, there is no other reasonable reason to do this.
