New to the forum and unfortunatley to sell my 1970 Challenger SE with AC. I wanted this car for a long time and had big plans for it. I bought it back in 2009. The car is a New Mexico car since 2000 and previously and originally a California car and the only rust is in the trunk area which is common. The car runs and drives but has a bad trans fluid leak and one of the calipers hangs up so I would not recommend driving any real distance. Being a New Mexico / California car up til I purchased it, it has not been in midwest salt ever and has been indoors since I got it!! The tan interior is completely sun baked from being in New Mexico and will need to be redone. As far as I can tell with the exception of the missing center console and the centercaps on the rally wheels and the rear window being swapped out for the standard window, the whole car is here and original. It was repainted at some point from its original brown to yellow which has also sun faded. There is a dent in the driver quarter and the driver door has a crease and a few other minor dents. It looks like there may be some bondo on the right fender. I had a body man look at it and he said everything including the quarter and door could be worked out without replacing any metal. I also have another door to go with it that I bought before the body guy said I did not need it.
All the trim is there, the rear taillight panel and grill are in great shape and not cracked or cut, glass is good.
Any rust you see in pics is just flash from sitting,no rot (except the trunk)
I also have a 440 with a 727 that I had planned to put in it. The motor came out of a 72 Newport with approx 60,000 miles and has an edelbrock intake on it, it is also set up with A/C, power steering etc and is 100% completely assembled from carb-to-pan and fan-to-trans, also stored indoors in heated garage.
Asking $10,900 but willing to deal as it needs to go. Car is located in Frankfort, IL
I can get you any pics or details you want, just ask.
