I am going to install the Rear Sway on my 72 Barracuda this weekend.
This car has never had a Rear Sway on it.
I gathered up all the parts shown in the first photo and feel I am ready to go.
I am looking for any tips to help this project go smoothly.
The first photo is my Pink Barracuda with parts, the other 3 photos are from other threads on this site for reference and help.
My first concern is if I have the 8 holes in my frame for the metal screws to go into that hold the frame part of the system.
If they are not factory drilled, then I have to guess where to attached the brackets to.
I know the brackets are v-shaped because the rails get narrower, so I guess I can look at others photos and slide the brackets along to find a good point.
Otherwise measurements would be great to get from you all.
Looking at some photos and thinking things through, I think the car frame needs to be raised and held up, I can use my lift or jackstands.
The brackets need to slip under the axle and sit on top of the leaf springs. Does everything line up with grooves or holes or do I have to be concerned
about my axle position on the leafs and getting it back correctly to where it use to sit.
Any help and photos is appreciated!
Thanks
