Came up on my tablet just fine but I didn't see any pictures if you posted any.

Thanks, I just tested it out too.  There are two tabs at the top that have both cars.  I'm still trying to figure the setup out but for now the work and the pics pop up when selected.

Hey there Hud,

Just bumped into your thread here.

On the 4 speed part, you will also need a Z-bar for the clutch pedal to clutch fork. Make sure you have the Z-bar bracket in place. Mine had the pedals and hump for a 4 speed but not the Z-bar bracket (prior owner didn't get that far I guess). So just make sure that's there before dropping any engine.

Thank you for your service and you have a sweet Cuda there.  :2thumbs:

I appreciate it.  Now I have to figure out what this mysterious Zbar is to see if I. Already have it or not

Hud,
Here is a pic of the Z-bar bracket. Should be located on the frame under the brake assy.

And here is a couple shots of the Z-bar (black in color), connected to the bracket on the frame and other end connected to the crank bellhousing under the steering column shaft.

Hope that helps.

Cudamantom and 6771plymouth, thank you both.  Cudaman I have no idea what I am looking for in relation to your pictures.  I have looked but your car is significantly more complete than mine at the moment.

I must confess I feel like I'm drowning in this project.  I have no idea what I'm doing.  I almost let it go about a month ago.  I wish I could make more ground with it but as it turns out getting the SRT8 has only held me back on progress and I find myself putting cuda money into my SRT8.  I have been content with it sitting in my garage to this point, I just wish I knew what I needed to be doing without having to pay someone else to do things.  It's so far disassembled I'm really struggling.

I'm to the point of either letting it go or turning it into the pro's and shelling out the big $$.  Every time I receive a legit offer I cant seem to let it go.   :horse:

Its funny how a dream car can be such a nightmare...

Hey HUD, don't lose hope man, id be lying if I said I haven't been where u are now.  Sometimes all it takes is a little boost to get over the hump, maybe there is another member in ur neck of the Carolina's that wouldn't mind stopping by to help out for an afternoon so u can get this z-bar business handled.  Good luck buddy
