>Hey B4IDIE, as soon as you get your hands on one share some pics with us!  I dont know how much longer the market is going to drop...
>I cannot wait to see the pics when you bring that 71 home!!  :grinyes:

Boys, that will be the happiest day of my life, and I'll be sharing.    :2thumbs:

I had thought for quite a while I'd be doing my own restoration, with prices continuing to fall that's not time or cost effective anymore.
Still dreaming about that 71 red hemi that failed to sell a few months ago at Mecum, bid only went to 52K, I think they want 75K. Not much 'original' about the car, but I've come to terms with that!

Slightly aggravated, Found a guy on craigslist that said he had those miscellaneous parts I need. like sill plates, radiator, steering column, go-wing, etc.  Basically little stuff... Disappeared off of the face of the earth...  I suppose I should just buy new stuff and not try to get it from people...  :banghead:

Or just be content with the numerous boxes of parts I already have, until I get to the point I absolutely have to have them.  :bricks1:

Unless it's original red interior parts.  :poopoke:

Really though, hit up the parts wanted section.  That should help.

Sad day... Everything is packed up, Crates and boxes stowed. I'll see you all, and the toys again sometime in October of next year.  Heading to Afghan...  If my account isn't deleted in my absence I look forward to continuing this thread upon my return.

Take it easy all, leaving the first week of Oct - Oct.

Thank you all for your comments, and farewells.  I didn't anticipate on getting anything new before I left but I did find a solid 440 block today dirt cheap, and thought I would share.  Just one more thing to get started on when I get home.
