"usraptr" = United States raptor - bird of prey = United States Bald Eagle.  FYI, somebody else thought of it first so I had to drop the "O" in raptor.

Cuda project looks promising.  Is your 73 Charger B5 blue?

MizzouRT the 73' Charger was B5, unfortunately I sold it to fund the Plymouth a few weeks before deploying.  Wish I could have kept both but that was not in the cards at the time.

As for the rest of you, everything is winding down on my end and I should be back in America in about a month and half or so.  Cant wait to push this guy out of the garage and start hitting you guys up for info and guidance.  Let it be noted that I have a ton of stuff to put her back together but nothing is labeled and the boxes are plentiful.  In short I don't know what I'm doing but hopefully you all can help me figure it out.

Its been a while since I have posted on the 71 because Ive been so tied up with the SRT but its question time.  I just picked up a 360 with a 727 already ready to drop in and fire up.  Problem is my car is set up for a manual transmission.  I already have a good 4 speed so what do I need to acquire to make the 4 speed work with the engine.  Keep in mind I'm a newb.

Balanced 130 tooth flywheel for a 360 , small block belhousing , 10.95" clutch assy , clutch fork & release brg  I assume you have all the clutch & shifter linkage , shifter  etc , if not you will need that also , Dakota roller pilot brg & you will have to deepen the hole in the rear of the crank to clear the input shaft

Thanks Chryco.  Gotta stop it down, clean it up and paint it.  I'll see if it's pre-drilled for a manual and start the search for the conversion.

Hey there Hud,

Just bumped into your thread here.

On the 4 speed part, you will also need a Z-bar for the clutch pedal to clutch fork. Make sure you have the Z-bar bracket in place. Mine had the pedals and hump for a 4 speed but not the Z-bar bracket (prior owner didn't get that far I guess). So just make sure that's there before dropping any engine.

Thank you for your service and you have a sweet Cuda there.  :2thumbs:
