Trojans on carsatcarlisle.com site
« on: June 17, 2012 - 07:46:22 AM »
I tried accessing the Carlisle webpages this morning and Google went crazy, saying that their site is infected/has Trojans on it, effective yesterday.

If you use google to get tothe webpage, it will find it.  But if you go there directly, you may not get a warning....

Just thought I would post this for you guys so no one gets any unwanted problems....

Sucky time for them to have this problem.....3 weeks before the event.

Are you accessing by Google or directly typing it in to your browser?

Not sure of the specifics, but a couple years ago you could not access the Indy Cylinder Heads site through Google.  I was able to bring it up through my browser.  I gave them a call and they said that they had not paid Google, or something along those lines, and that was the reasoning for the flagging????  Computers are too technical for me....

I dunno.....I visit their site from time to time, accessing through google.....and I have never seen this before.   I think the "I didnt pay Google" thing is something else........this is the message I got, at home and at work.

I wonder if Carlisle Events knows?

Their site will be getting major traffic right now and lots of folks will be unhappy.

I just called Carlisle events to talk to them about my retro dealership question and also asked about the site.

The carsatcarlisle site is definately having issues.....they know about it and are working on it.

But you can get to carlisles main site at carlisleevents.com

You're brave.

I have AV and malware scanners on all my machines and things still get through sometimes.
