A great drive followed by a carb issue

I know what you mean but this is the second Edelbrock I have put on this car. The other one turned into a squirt gun on me after 4 months of daily driving. I was lucky I worked for a shop that exchanged it out for me. I have honestly considered  putting the new all in one MSD Fuel injection system on the car. I have heard really good things. The only thing stopping me is that my electrical in the car is crap and if I where to do it I honestly should replace that first.

I guess its all ab out luck of the draw. I know guys that breathe a sigh of relief w hen ya tell em you have an eddy and they dont have to work on a holly. But ive also heard the other way around. Like 06daytona said eddy is a good bolt on carb and all i need but even it takes some tuning once in a while. I just started over. Got my choke set, then my air fuel mixture, then my idle. Idles good now.  If i have any other issues i might look into a holly
