I bought it last week...it's at my friends place down the East Coast. Still coming up with a plan (restore or sell) I currently have a '73 Cuda that's more than 1/2 done but I can't keep both cars...I'm going to have to sell one to fund the other project. I've always wanted an ebody ragtop (being a 'Cuda 383 car is a bonus BUT the condition offsets most of that excitement) I'm on the fence....but I couldn't pass the car up. I'll let you guys know which direction I go...either way an ebody Cuda will be on the block in the near future

........And after further review & even more review & ultimately leaving it up to my wife ...the convertible is the car that I have to release. I can't keep both & the reality is I just can't do this kind of work myself + my other Barracuda is pretty close - could be driving it next spring (especially if I get decent coin on the 'vert)...I guess we'll soon see "what someone is willing to pay" for this rusty 'ole gem.

Hey guys....The zero feedback guys always scare me - but I believe at least one of them called me to tell me he was bidding & was local - actually coming to see it this weekend before he "continues bidding". From the responses I'm still getting on the auction - there's still quite a bit of interest at this price. Mostly body shop guys that see an opportunity to flip it as they'll do all the work. But it's still a ton of work. Just hope it stays B7 blue with a 383 & not a HEMI clone I really didn't know what this would bring, hence me asking here. I saw a lot of 318 project ragtops sell but rarely a BS car. When/IF it actually sells (cash in pocket - car on trailer)...I'll let you guys know...My guess is you'll see it in about a year being sold as a done car..with an extra zero at the end

Congrats on the price so far I'm guessing this was a great investment for you. And it nice to see a true value of a car and not what everyone thinks its worth. I know of a 70 vert in good shape minuses motor and trans and needed a restore sold for 26 and it was a grand coupe

Holy Cow Batman is right.  I hope the winning bidder comes through.  And I hope this is a sign of things to come for the vert market.  I have one that is just about body done in primer and was told only worth 25k and that is with no metal work needed to be done.

Hey guys....it looks like a legit sale. Guy sent deposit & is picking up early next week.
There were 2 other bidders (one local) that called after the auction offering more than 15k to buy it that day, which I scoffed at.
I'm quite blown away & happy - apparently 14,000-15,500 was the real value on this thing!
