It really was a surprise to me as well I was having a hard time seeing more then $10-12K especially since you didn't even get it rolling. Anyway good for you that should finish your hardtop car.

Is your's a Cuda or Barracuda?

sorry for the late reply Crocha, mine is a Barracuda, but with the stat that car is in, I wouldn't think that would matter in this case.

Crazy stuff, *note to self* keep an eye out for basketcase verts!  :cooldancing:

Hey guys....it looks like a legit sale. Guy sent deposit & is picking up early next week.
There were 2 other bidders (one local) that called after the auction offering more than 15k to buy it that day, which I scoffed at.
I'm quite blown away & happy - apparently 14,000-15,500 was the real value on this thing!
1970 Cuda Clone 440 4 speed - sublime green

Restored Cuda Verts typically bring nearly twice the money as the a similiar restored Barracuda Vert because of how rare they are.

Picking my jaw up off the floor just now: $14k; your sale jumped 5k on the last day!  Super sweet sale bro.
Glad it is going to be saved as it is a great package.  Hit hard on that front end though!  Hope they lived.
