I have some old parts for my 72 Barracuda that are just collecting dust....

None of this is great, pristine stuff.....but it might be a stop gap for someone.

Taking best offer if there is any interest or will trade if you have something I need.

- front door plastic -- these are the originals from the car - they have been dyed a few times, originally blue, chips and some chalky spots before dying.  Grain etc is not good. They mount just fine but as I recall there are a couple of of the plastic "hooks" on the back that are broken.   Ran them for a couple years til I got new repros.  Would be fine for a cheap alternative while saving up for better ones/repros.
They DO have new cats whiskers brand whiskers on them....bought in summer of 2009, used for a year or two.

- left and right a-pillar plastic -- dyed a couple times, origionally blue, were chalky and the grain is not good.....cheap alternative as a stop-gap til you find better ones.

- stock torsion bars (318 car).  Worked fine in the car for being decades old, but swapped big aftermarket ones in.

- front drum setup , left and right, should have everything there.  DIrty, greasy and heavy as all get out, but they worked fine (for drums) when they were on the car.

- reman master cylinder for stock brake setup.  Bought at Autozone in 2009, used that summer then swapped for aluminum style in 2010.

- used charcoal cannister and bracket  -- number on the sticker on it is 3577583 far as I can tell.  No mopar markings on it ...I think it says "Rochester" on it ??  Hose nipples are in good shape.....

- rear view mirror....mirror itself has some issues with the silver reflective part (black flaking is the best I can explain).  Good stop gap.

- fuel filler tube for (I think) a 70-71 ebody.  Has small pinhole in gasket area that would need brazed/JB Welded

- front strut bars --- I replaced them with aftermarket aluminum ones.   They are in fair shape, not sure if they would be considered "bent" or not....both have (very) slight arcs to them as I recall.

- 2 gauge clusters -stock style, not rally- plastic bezel and clear window with some gauges.   Faded needles etc .  Speedos do not work as I recall.

- a couple lower control arms that I got from folks here when I was swapping my out......I seem to remember worrying that they were not 100% straight.  But if you know how to tweak them or whatever maybe they are usable?

- old door sill plates.  Usable and solid, but some dents, tarnish etc...they are 40 year old originals

Dash board switch panel for standard dash, no labels.

Kickpanels.....used to be blue....

Let me know if anyone has an interest in any of this and I will take pics.

I am looking for the remote hood release setup for my car so if you want any of this and have one, we could trade.....

Oh yeah?   HEY!  Thanks!   I actually emailed bumperboyz asking them if they paid for old ones and they never got back.

How good does a bumper need to be in order to be a core??

++++update

I couldnt find "muscle car bumpers" online.

I just emailed Tri CIty asking them.   Do you know how good quality their bumpers are?   I was looking for a rear bumper for my car...my current one is original and has some pitting, fading etc.....Was going to get one from Roseville but last I checked (a while ago) they were not available.

I hear very good things from Tri-city. Very bad things from Bumper Boyz.

I have not bought from muscle car bumpers and I cannot find them online either..... we usually carry a bunch up there. I can help you find it when you get there.

I hear Stephens performance has the best but the cost is way higher......

Always a good idea to do your bumper business when you first get there b/c they buy through the show and reach a quota (meaning they won't buy) and they sell out early on, especially early E-body bumpers.

You can't lose by taking a walk to each vendor without it and asking what they offer. They can straighten them out. They do not like heavy rusting..... hard to explain. Essentially it needs to be "fiaxable"

wally, you know if they buy cores there or do you have to call them and see first?  I have some bumpers a friend gave me off of a 68 road runner that are nice cores.  If I can get some money for parts at the meet, I'll bring them.

resq - We've only ever brought them and got lucky.... You could always call tri-city, but like shdango said, we couldn't find the other place online. They used to advertize in MCG.....

Like said above, take them over early and you may be fine. Prices may have changed, and different model's may command different prices. I would bring them if you have room, not if it is uncomfortable, and check with each vendor.

I don't want anyone to take my word alone, since I have no affiliation. Just my past experience when we unload cores each year. I don't have any of my own right now, but my uncle usually has some. up to '72 is usually the cut-off.

I traded my old front bumber for a new shiny rear at Tri City at Carlisle!

Also, driveshaft is SOLD.

Did I mention that the whiskers on the door panels are like new?  LOL

Anyone interested in any of these parts?
