That sure is going to be the best family car out there now!

Ah, I dunno. I was able to fit three infant car seats across the back seat of my Challenger.

Showed these pics to my wife and explained that I know Steve and you guys are building this.

She said eeewwww.    Old men drove four doors, I see why they crushed it.

She is waiting for me to finish her Cuda. I was going to flip it till she showed interest by saying "she always liked Cudas more than Challengers, If I finish it, she will drive it"  I like Challengers so I figured that Cudas were girl's cars.

Dave, what are you going to do with Been after the 4-door is finished? You better start thinking of something more unique or he'll go crazy on you.

I probably drive Steve crazy!  It seems like we are always two projects ahead of the one we're working on.  I think it is time that I work with him to get his Hemi Cuda project finished.  Too many projects and not enough time to finish them all.  :2thumbs:

Ain't that the truth!

Can you share the pictures you have of Chrysler's actual 4 Door Concept vehicle ? Every Google search I've done has turned up nothing. :clueless:
I've taught you everything you know.....but I haven't taught you everything I know !

Well.... look at it this way.  No real worries about having to replace rusted out sheet metal on this resto.   :roflsmiley:  Coming along nicely!

Ah, I dunno. I was able to fit three infant car seats across the back seat of my Challenger.

I had a heck of a time fitting one in the 70 convertible, had to go behind passenger seat... which had to be moved all the way up, and flipped forward. Not to mention getting the seat belt buckled in the middle of the carseat. Actually unbuckling it was the hard part as we know how these cars seat belts hook up. Was never so happy when she turnd 4 and could use a booster seat!! Perhaps the Chally has more room, or the hard top? I love the idea of the 4 door!! Not that I want one now, but definatly a cool concept!

Dave,

What might be easiest to do is a black interior as most repro parts are molded in black plastic I have found.  Plus it would go well with the red exterior.  A red interior would be my second choice although the red interior parts would be really tough to find.

Option wise..... hmmm...... over head console?  Maybe the cassette recorder with the microphone?

Rarely do I get more excited about other peoples project as compared to the ones I'm working on, but this 4 door Cuda is about as neat of a project as I can image and I'm super excited to see it done.  Wish you had more photos to share!  No matter the interior color I know it will be done right and to standards few can image.

You must be a prophet Alan!  We have done a 180 and decided to do exactly what you reference/advised a few months ago.  We are going to build the 4 door E-Body using Roger Johnson's memory and depiction of the original concept car.  It will be a red Barracuda with a flat hood, bench seat, hub caps, (not sure what style) a 318 engine, column shift automatic, etc.......  We are still trying to find out the color of the interior.

With the project taking on a totally different direction, we hope some of you will offer suggestions regarding unique build features for the finished product.  What interior color would look good with a red exterior?   :dunno:  We are going to try to stay true to the real concept vehicle but will consider adding (feasible) options if we are not able to obtain actual build information.
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.
