I think I was at the wrong party!
« on: June 24, 2012 - 06:01:18 AM »
I friend from work had me over for a party at his house.  He said that he was having some other car nuts over.  I didn't have much to talk about with the rest of the people that showed up...LOL

Looks like one of the corvette club shows down here. All stock corvettes, from the dealership showroom to the car show and they cry if they don't get a trophy. Anyone can buy a car, it takes real passion to build one.

Since you did not have a bow tie, I'm surprised they let you in.

I like 'vettes. As much as I try to keep up on topical things, I wouldn't have much to say. I don't have to worry about it. I would never ever be invited to digs that nice. Way out of my league. Hope that you had a good time.

I couldn't have gotten there if I hadn't driven a Mopar.  I don't own anything else...LOL

They would not let me park with them.  They all wanted to take pictures of all their cars together.

After reading that, I would NEVER ever ever want to be invited to anything like that. You can have all those asshats for friends or coworkers that you want. I wouldn't be any part of it. Thank you for clearing it up for us.
